S.A.F.E. (Safe Affirming Family Environment) is an inclusive non-profit organization offering an online resource to current or potential GLBTQ (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered or Questioning) friendly foster or adoptive parents, GLBTQ foster youth currently in foster care, GLBTQ foster youth aging out of foster care and those GLBTQ foster youth who have recently aged out of foster care and find themselves homeless. S.A.F.E. aims to establish host homes to help these youth and young adults transition to independent living.
